Why RamJamJets?

We offer two things vital to the next phase of supersonic travel:

1, A new type of high efficiency jet engine.

2. A new VTOL aircraft design with the innovative features needed for virtually no boom and efficient supersonic travel.

Who We Are Not

Old school supersonic aircraft

Commercial supersonic jetliners are further away than companies want you to think. The engine propulsion has still not been developed that is required by these companies to provide the needed efficiencies. No one has created away to reduce the boom in any meaningful way even though a lot of money has been spent.

Boring drone design

Electric flying taxis are eventually going to be part of the transportation mix for cities but the technology is still further away than companies would like you to think. Battery technology is not there yet and the designs are still highly inefficient.

Advantages of RamJamJets

Aircraft designed to be small, light weight and low drag generate almost no boom based on science that exists today.


Mach 2 travel is a sweet spot so aircraft can operate without using advanced metal alloys or more complicated propulsion.


RamJamJet engines operate over a large range of speeds efficiently and can operate on propane and eventually hydrogen if the infrastructure is ever fully developed.


Unlike jet engines, RamJamJet engines from the intake to the combustion chamber and through to the exhaust are completely open and have no moving parts. No parts to break down or melt.


The RamJamJet VTOL vehicle has unique and large control surfaces, flexible wing, low frontal plate, and robust fuselage. The vehicle fits inside a single car garage without mechanically rotating any part of the vehicle. Dry weight of vehicles of around 1000 pounds. The use of propane injectors provide several million BTUs of heat energy to the RamJamJet engine to generate thrust.


The RamJamJet VTOL will look and fly very similar to a normal aircraft but will be much cooler.
